Do you think he cares about his Ring title?

Anyway, there was only one option at the time at Welter - after Mosley vs Mayweather he has THE option to choose from. Nothing else out there matters.

well he ****in better had if he wants a 50-50 split purse with floyd in the future :deal

and i know there was only one option at the time at welter, it was an option to fight someone who rarely throws a punch and has just come off the back of a loss :deal

do you honestly think pacquiao will get a 50-50 split if floyd is the ring champion instead? not a chance. this is why bob arum will not let pacquiao give up his ring title.

sorry, but this chat about pacquiao going down to LWW next to keep his ring title is laughable.
pacquiao's next fight will be mayweather at WW or nothing.

everyone who has an interest in boxing knows that the only reason floyd agred to the 50-50 split is because floyd was no longer the p4p champion. If floyd holds the belt, he will hold out for the bigger slice of the pie...:deal

Who else is he going to fight that will give him the money that a Pacquiao fight will? In fact what fight out there will give him even half the money a Pacquiao fight will?

Ring titles don't mean **** all in any fight, they are just a stupid, meaningless gimmick.

    Full stop.

    same goes for pacquiao... :deal

if manny stays at ww and loses his ring title, floyd will demand the bigger cut and if manny turns it down, manny will fight someone for $6m again and floyd will fight someone for $10m-$15m again... floyd IS the moneyman and numbers have proven this. i hate that this would get in the way of a great fight, but it is a fact!!

they matter to floyd and if he gets it, he will demand the bigger cut in any fight he has... and bob arum doesnt want that!!

Floyd would try and get the biggest slice of the pie regardless.

The fact that Pacquiao might have a Ring title at 140 or an alphabelt at 147 doesn't mean anything.

The belt most probably won't be on the line, because Mayweather wouldn't pay a ''sanctioning'' (whatever the **** that means) fee - and fair play to him for refusing.
