I know casa just recently beat katsidis which was a impressive win, but i think everyone knows he is past what his best was so how much out of 10 would marquez get if he beat casa? would the win be good enough to move him up the p4p ladder?

I think it sets up a third fight with Pacquiao.

Casamayor's still a top class performer. And especially as he's moving up, I for one will give JMM a lot of credit for beating Joel.

i dont think he will move up in the rankings, cause he has the number 3 spot and he would have to prove that he is better than calzaghe and pacquiao, which i doubt that this fight will prove it

Marquez will most likely beat Casa. I think he is way passed it too. It will be a good win for Marquez. I think he should fight Pacquiao right after.

I would give him a ton of credit, being that I expect Casa to knock him out.

Casamayor can still punch, he's a cagey vet who can make adjustments and produce a well timed world class bomb when needed - even at this stage in the game. He's also the owner of the Ring Lightweight Championship. This will be a very good win for Marquez, plenty of people are picking Casamayor.

It would be a huge win for Marquez in his first fight at 135 to beat someone like Casa. It would be a much better win then Pac beating Diaz who is not a top light weight even though he had a belt. Casa still packs a mean punch but i expect Marquez to win a UD to much skill right now for Casa.

i expect marquez to beat casa since casa is shot. but i guess he will get lots of credit for moving up. i would move him up #2 on my p4p list especially if he stops casa which i predict him to do.

I wouldnt call him shot, only umotivated, maybe the challenge is what makes him become dangerous, ironically

I would not give him credit. Same case if Pac beat casa. Casa is way below his prime. His last win was not really CONVINCING.

However, a win will be his ticket to fight pac!

A LOT of credit, I'm picking Casamayor to win here but it's a very difficult pick.

great fight casa is still the man
i think the bad showing against santa cruz was alot of ring rust
he still showed to be dangerous and crafty against katsidis
for marquez first fight at lightweight he is going real big along with guzman
for some reason i think the winner of those two fights wiil fight first while pac fights hatton then pac will meet the winner

he should and will get credit but not enough to move him up the p4p ladder significantly. this is b/c he has still lost his biggest fights (at least according to the judges) with Pacquiao and Chris John

however once Calzaghe retires, he is sure to move up to that #2 spot
