no, floyd fought a shane who had just knocked out margarito. pac is fighting a shane who hasn't won for two years.

as for how much credit i gave, not that much because i didn't expect shane to hurt him like he did in round 2. i gave him more credit for beating hatton than i did for beating shane.

cotto is a light middleweight. the same division that pac just won a "world title in"

at WW i agree that bar floyd, shane is the best opponent. doesn't mean he deserves any credit tho.

at LMW there are much better opponents for him.

Cotto is still ranked as no4 WW and since Roach already said PAC will not be campaigning at LMW it's his WW ranking that is relevant.

Infact since Roach said Pacs ideal weight is 140 he won't be campaigning at LMW so even though the opposition is good there it's out of Pacs reach, unless catchweights can be negotiated and that in a lot of peoples eyes downgrades the value of the win.

ranked by who at number 4? and why rank him when isn't a WW?

it is simple really from 140-147 pac has 2 options to boost his legacy. floyd or marquez. outside of that he won't really achieve much.

if he wants to improve upon his legacy then he needs to push himself and take the fights at 154. would a victory over shane/berto mean anything at this stage? i doubt it tbh. a victory over a legit lmw at 154, however, would do.

None, they are better fighters outhere that could give him a really tough fight, but he wants nothing to do with them.

to improve his legacy he really should fight floyd/martinez/marquez/dzindzuruk maybe a cotto rematch at full 154.

there is nothing for him at 147 except mosley or berto. one is winless in 2 years, and the other is a supposed hype job(although i personally am convinced he is a bonafide top 5 fighter now)
