IMO for roger to really have no ego or put down about shane lets you know this will be floyds biggest win, people say the shane is 39 SO what. who would you put in the ring with Shane right now that wont get put to sleep not named floyd or pac? be honest

depends on how floyd wins. if this turns out into a night of potshoting through and through and ends up ala pbf-dela hoya, i won't give him full credit. shane isn't prime anymore and to make this fight that close won't be completely impressive.

Good point to be fair, although to play devils advocate almost every fighter has that one last fight where you know thats enough and they aint got it so we dont really know. The only way for this to work out for Floyd so no-one can say anything against it is if he wins and then Shane comes back to beat another top fighter after!

so you are saying SHANE should be an easy fight for floyd even though his OWN trainer doesnt think it will be. you are either giving floyd waaaaaaaaayyy too much credit or you think shane is washed up. which one is it?

this is true, thats why I think the berto fight will still happen. I do not see shane going into stepping stone, gate keeper status and the year off did him more good than harm IMO, he is a gymrat, although floyd is not the fight to shake ring rust off with, just like pac wasnt for floyd, but shane got cannonballs when it comes to a challenge.I think even into his mid-forties if he can comfortable make the 147 he will be a though out anyone even when all the 140lbers move up and want to get that name on their resume

Mosley is past prime, he is old in boxing terms (18 yrs fighting) but not shot. He'll still give any welter out there major problems.
With that being said, if Floyd beats Mosley in a wide UD, putting together a performance like he did against JMM, I'll give Floyd his Due.

I think in fight age shane is at the tale end thats why i think he is going to give floyd a hard fight this is 1 of 2 fights that he begged for and sat out a year for, their history goes waayyy back there is a genuine competiveness and dislike for each other the (i'll be damned if i lose to you) type of competiveness

Shane may be past his best and to add his age, I still think he has what it takes to beat, and even KO Floyd.

So if Floyd wins fairly in anyway he would, I'd give him all the credit he deserves. I said fairly meaning no gift decisions from the judges.

    Shane by KO. :hat

I think they give any close to decision to floyd because they know that pac v floyd will be a bigger draw. I think shane needs to knock him out to win. I don't see shane winning a decision

Some credit. But Mosley is close to being shot and coming off a long lay off. Margarito is a punching bag.

It depends on how Mosley looks.

I'm sure you had predicted an easy KO win for Mosley before his fight with Margarito, eh?

So if Mosley looks bad it can't be due to Mayweather's performance, it has to be because Mosley is shot? Still, Pac's win vs DLH was the achievement of the century or something, surely DLH wasn't close to being shot.

I expect most of Pacquiao fans to say the same.

It's P4P#2 vs P4P#3 at a weight both are comfortable fighting at, how can either not get massive credit for winning.
