I think you guys would give him a **** load credit. He'd be the greatest thing since a slice of white bread.

I would barely give him any credit if any. He'd win a Dec over a almost 37 small WW who is really blown up junior lightweight. The kid Canelo also comes into the ring as a light heavyweight.

Ya'll dont give Floyd props for beating Oscar, Mosley, and Cotto but I bet u give a **** load of props to Canelo for beating a much much smalle man.

Nobody gets any credit for beating anyone. **** it. Nobody deserves credit for any win they've ever gotten.

I'll give him some credit, I mean Floyd is the best hands down. But I can't give Canelo full credit for taking on a much smaller Mayweather that is starting to look past his prime. People make the argument, that Floyd has fought at 154, true but he has never fought a natural 154 pounder. DLH and Cotto, who Floyd beat at 154, went up to that weight at the end of their career.

Honestly I would give Canelo more credit if he were to beat Martinez, who is rehydrates closer to what Canelo rehydrates to than Floyd.

On a side note. If it was Floyd last night taking on Canelo instead of Trout, Canelo would of been in trouble. Floyds shots are thrown with better pop and crispiness, not to mention the accuracy. Canelo has serious stamina issues and it's was hard for me to imagine Canelo taking more than half a round off to conserve his energy and still manage to win that round to Floyd, who has never shown any sign of stamina issues.

Lets wait and see how Floyd looks against Guerrero. If he looks like he is having a hard time, getting roughed up in there, and not able to use his legs like we are used to seeing.... then Floyd should stay away from the 154 division. Canelo is just improving and will continue to.

37 y/o Floyd is much better fighter than the Mosely that he fought.

Floyd has never been in anything resembling the wars that any of those fighters were in prior to getting beat by Floyd.

Floyd got credit by most (not counting *******s for obvious reasons) for beating a good (maybe not best but good and comfortable at the weight) Cotto.

Floyd is much closer to his prime now than Oscar was when they fought.

Your whiny, victim-status-seeking post is full of holes.

    Try again.

Thats pretty much the ESB philosophy.

    When a guy wins,his (previously good) opponent,becomes

    Shot
    Green
    Unmotivated
    Robbed
    Weight drained
    Weight bloated
Never any good to begin with

    etc etc etc

A pretty good amount because the gap in skill level is greater than the size difference, and I pick Floyd to win that fight. How do I not give him credit?

Full credit, even though Floyd is slipping, he is still the best
