I see alot of people giving him full credit for the win but I also see the same amount who gives credit but not as much because of DLH being shot or old or weight-drained. So lets hear it, how much credit did you give Pac in this fight?
Alot...heres a perspective... Being objective, lets be honest..Oscars bigger but hes done...but he got demolished like a shot fighter that he is. PAC did what he had to do. How many times have you seen a shot fighter linger and remain competitive against a supposedly in prime fighter?? Answer: All the time.
All the credit possible. I dont think anyone would of expected such a shitty performance from DLH despite the Forbes fight. As far as team Pac knew, they were going up against someone who would weigh in at 160 for the fight and would of put up way more of a fight not a "shot" fighter.
I'm giving him 80% because of his dominant performance...the odds that he was facing...and all the size advantages and beautiful neutralization of ALL of DLH's strengths But let's face it...you're only as good as your last performance...and his performance against Forbes was ****...although he won...he looked NOWHERE near what he looked like against Mayweather and even against Mayweather he looked a bit shot... Another thing people need to face and realize...NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN THE GOLDEN BOY turn into THE GOLDEN *****...no one has EVER dominated DLH like that in a fight...nobody...he couldn't use the same RJJ excuses because he wasn't cut and his boxing smarts didn't rely heavily on reflexes and athleticism... Pacman just went in there and stole his soul...took his confidence and made him wake up and realize that he's old and needs to hang'em up
100% Pacquiao moved up in weight, was visably the smaller man and while we have known Oscar has been on the downslide for the past few years he beat whatever DLH had left right out of him. Pacquiao didn't lose a single round and he would have KO'd DLH if the fight would have continued. This is also a fight that at least 75% had Oscar winning including myself because of his massive size advantage. How can anyone can give him anything less than full credit? This fight only opened the doors for him to really cement his legacy as a first tier ATG.
Is the same Oscar who fought Maywheter, the only diference is that Forbes and Pacman don't run they fight and Oscar got beat, Maywheater is a runner he doesn't deserve to be #1.
I give him full credit for the victory but as far as DLH being a credible opponent at this point in his career is another story. But Pac did what he had to do and beat the bigger man --
Funny how things work on this website. Before the fight almost everyone on here saying that there scared Pac is gonna get knock out violently. But not only did pac win he whooped DLH ass. Now people saying...but DLH was shot though....****n ******s..
I thought DLH will take pacs punches like peanuts and at some point pac will be hit by 1 lucky punch. I totally underestemated pacs power and speed ever since barrera 1.
The only reason you are saying that is becuase if otherwise it would question the perfomance and P4P rating of Floyd Mayweather Jr. I think Manny deserves credit about 70% of it, the 30% he doesnt get is due to the weight factor and the age factor but that isnt Mannys fault. However Mannys win over Oscar is much more bigger and more impressive than Mayweather Jrs, who fought tooth and nail to a single point SD with Oscar. Manny has proven that he all along has been the best P4P fighter in the last couple of years.
