Oscars shortcomings were plain to see in his last fight and openly aknowledged by most writers. Despite this Pac was still the underdog and not given much chance by most professional pundits and fans alike.

Oscar performed as expected - everyone knew he was faded but thought his size would simply be too much. Pac simply exceeded expectations with a fantastic performance - despite the fact that Oscar seemed to have specifically prepared for Pac's speed by coming in lighter than predicted.

Pac gets some credit for the performance but Oscar was mince so he isnt getting too much from me, especially since he hasnt beaten JMM him yet and should give him another rematch.

DLH is not shot, but he is past his prime and severely weight-draines, like Chris Byrd.

Let's just say if he can repeat that type of performance against a prime welterweight like Margarito, Williams or even Cotto that would mean a heck of a lot more. The Oscar that fought that night was a shell of his former self and far worse than RJJ has looked years past his prime. I would even go as far to say that Hatton would have absolutely demolished ODLH if he fought instead of Pac that night.

 

On the contrary, It is JMM who has not yet beaten Pac. He had managed to get a draw through an scoring error in the first fight and a SD loss in the 2nd. The 2nd fight could have been a draw or a win for JMM coz they got 6 rds each but the his kd in the 3rd round which JMM was winning until the fateful kd that tip the balance to Pac.

 

This would really be a true "The World Awaits" PPV between Pacman and PBF.

I give him 100% credit. He knew who he was up against, ODLH his long time idol. Pac knew that the only way he could beat Oscar, a proven great fighter who enjoyed a big size advantage over him, was through a carefully executed fight plan and a single mistake could spell disaster for him! It was a tremendous performance by the Pacman dominating a bigger guy in a manner no other fighter of his (ODLH) size has done before.:good

It's a difficult question to answer in those terms. His performance was epic and I cannot help but give him all as much credit as I can articulate. But then on the other hand we cannot overlok the fact that that was a very weak DLH.
