How much damage has David Haye caused to British Boxing

Damage to casual fans, in terms of them considering to buy a PPV again, short term yes, he's ****ed it up. But give it another six months, people will continue to buy PPV's if the hype is good.

In terms of the broadcaster Sky, they are now reluctant to have fights which before they definately would of had on PPV now they'll think twice about it. The days of Naz and Hatton, you know you got value for money, you were entertained. Haye with his cautious approach is not and has had flop after flop. The damage done here is long term and up and coming fighters can thank Haye for losing them big paydays on Sky PPV

 

He's probably ****ed it for himself but not British boxing in general.

What you have to remember is that the British public in general are as thick as **** and while feeling ripped off at first give it a few months and they'd fall for all the hype again and happily part with their pounds. See England in the world cup or the euros as an example, all hype, churn out shite, the public give them **** yet fall for the same claptrap 2 years later.
