This is just a warm up fight to blow off some rust for the fight with Johnson next month. So nobody expects an opponent that could take AJ more than a few rounds. This fight really means nothing, it's the Johnson fight that will tell us where AJ is at the moment in regards to his progress.
Between the weigh in and the face off (90 seconds) Gavern looks like he got that 'message'.....throw the fight son and you'll get an extra 10 grand. He looks as though all the fire has been removed from him. Very sad.
I thought he looked heavier, 245lbs is a career high weight and more like what you would expect at his height and formidable build. Hopefully he hasn't lost any speed.
Yes it was pretty obvious from Gavern's demeanor that this isn't going to last long. He's going to be sensible and look for a way out once he gets a taste of AJ's power.
I understand the possible implications quite well, as I've been following the sport probably longer than you've been alive. That aside, regardless of weight and how they look, do you actually think it matters in this fight? I'm gonna say regardless if Gavern came in the best shape of his life, and AJ came in out of shape, Gavern is still not winning. You can **** off calling me stupid, when you can't even figure out how to search on the internet and handle basic writing skills. It's "they're in shape" not their.
lets be fair, you were implying he was gay with your first post lmao, that's how I took it, unless of course you claim otherwise?
I implied nothing of the sort. I just find it odd that he routinely starts threads about the weights of fringe and prospect HW fighters, especially when the info can be found with Google. Gay or not, he's a moron.
