No it doesn't but that also doesn't count his other 45 or so fights. You have to figure he netted millions even after all the overhead. Even 3 or 4 million is easily enough to live comfortably off of.
it was supposed to be Gatti's last fight, and instead of looking at it like DLH gave him no money, many people saw it as giving the fighter a last opportunity to make seven figures before retiring
I don't think it would have sold very well if it were PPV. The fight actually lasted a lot longer than most people probably expected. Now considering it didn't even last five rounds, that's saying something. Let's not forget that the fight predated Gatti's resurgence.
But those were easily his biggest paydays. Do you really think he made another 10 million or more in his other bouts? I'm not saying for sure he didn't, but I don't recall him fighting for such big purses earlier in his career.
