He is stone cold broke that is why is back in the ring.

He was quoted in the past that he was only in boxing to make money for his retirement. Looks like he did not earn enough to retire on

 

Before this comeback, around the $30 million mark, gross.

It was reported by Forbes that he made $15 million gross of that against Wladimir.

 

Haye made plenty of money during his career; but, apparently lost most or all of it in Dubai property deals he's invested heavily in, which then went belly-up.

A little while back, Haye was held in custody in Dubai airport and had his passport seized, because of a £341,000 cheque he issued which subsequently bounced. Now, I could be wrong, but customs don't usually go to those lengths to detain someone without good reason or just cause.

Haye could have lived a beautiful and quite life in Dubai for good with that kind of dough.

It'll take him a while to get back to that kind of bank roll.

Lol. Yeah because everyone who thinks Haye has money problems is a hater. FFS the evidence is staring you right in front of your face yet people keep putting their fingers in their ears whilst saying 'la la la I'm not listening' like little kids.

He had a bounced cheque in Dubai for a start. He's closed down his gym, sold his ring, put his house up for sale and he has an impending divorce which means she will claim a good chunk of what haye earned whilst they were together.

Look, People in the industry know what Haye's situ is. I'd believe Chisora when he said 'why do you think Haye is coming back. For the money' but yeah we're all haters. ****in numbskulls on this forum sometimes.

 

I'm a big haye fan for the record but all this is his own fault. Cheating on his wife and this is what you get

 

He sold the equipment because the Park Plaza Hotel wanted the space back where the gym was situated.

 

He sold his ring and bought a new 1 for his new gym. The Dubai thing was a misunderstanding and he ended up actually buying the property.
