for some reason i thought jmm would get paid like 3 million, im actually pleasantly surprised he got 5, are u guys ok with that or should have gotten a lil but more considering how well Marquez did in the first two fights and between them too
5 million gauranteed I believe, plus $5 of every PPV over 700k or 800k I can't remember the exact number. He should get a couple more million after the PPV is counted He was guaranteed 10 million for a 4th fight had he won.
JMM should have gotten better than $5M for his status. Should have been at least a 30% split for what he brings to the fight. Marquez got robbed twice. Fukkin Greedy ******* Bob Arum.
Compared to what his own promoter paid him against Floyd ($3.2 million plus $1 of every PPV over 1 million) it was good, generous if will.
He can still hold Arum to that number, or demand even a bit more. Arum seems to want this 4th fight pretty badly. Marquez not being able to get up for another is understandable though, but he would've had to fight Pac again had he won anyway.
Beat a guy up for the second two thirds of a fight, get robbed, and take 20% of the pay of the guy who got the unfair nod over you. Awesome.
**** this I want to fight Arum at like a 210 pound catch weight drain the **** out of him, see how he likes it!!!!!! I mean if i got into serious shape (gym 4 times a week for 10 weeks) i would weight around 160-180pounds! (i am 6ft 4 nearly!) so it would be fair right? I weigh what I want he has to be below 210!!!!!
