It’s obvious people are going to select no here because of such a dominant performance. This fight should have happened years ago - certainly Spence has looked far from impressive in his last few fights reacting poorly to getting hit, spitting out gum shields and turning away. People are acting like Crawford just beat an elite boxer who was 100% or top of his game, which is just delusion. This fight would have been way more competitive years ago
If brook hadn't been stabbed twice Had not gone two divisions higher And broken an orbital You think spence still wins Spence just got the dog shyte beat outta him
"I wasn't expecting Spence to be this bad though." That's because he's been fine for four years and injuries just don't work like that. I couldn't get it up one night and I was like "You really have to wonder how much of this is because in grade school I was kicked in the dongle." I mean, I'd been fine for like ...two...three...four...I don't know but dozens of years before that one night. And she told me that, believe me. She called me out on all of that nonsense. Harshly. That's why I rightfully blame her. She was no prize either. I was just lonely and she was very demanding. Listen, this isn't about me. Let's put the blame where it belongs for what happened to Spence and my dongle that one night and some others: The fans. Because they expected too damn much for too damn long and for too damn much money.
Exactly. It’s shocking that a lot of boxing “fans” don’t understand timing. This fight would have been way more competitive several years ago. But nah people don’t consider that and act like Crawford just beat a 100% prime Spence
Nobody will ever know so not worth thinking about Spence got beat up bad, that's all we got to work with
I hate to say it..but Bud hardly got out of 2nd gear in this fight ..he didnt need to..Spence was awfull..nothing worked for him tonight...his punches were weak..Bud shrugged them off like nothing..his timin was pff..looked uncoordinated Spence tonight..had no answers for Crawford It was not the accident...hed been liiking less that stellar in recent fights building up to this..wile Crawford was escalating. Maybe its the lifestlye..the paartying clubbing..and the weight drain did him in.He was always going to streuggle against a slickster like crawford regardless.
Rematch? You think they'll be a rematch?? Spence was completely outclassed. No one wants to see a rematch after how one-sided that was.
He wants it and so does Crawford and they can do it at 154 as both want. I suggest they do it in Texas to maximise value.
Any version of Crawdad destroys Spence. Crawford exposed Spence for the world to see and showed beyond a doubt who is the better fighter. It wasn’t even close. Younger Crawdad might have given Spence a worse beating. No wonder Spence avoided Crawford for so long. Crawford put a Mack truck style beatdown on Spence. No rematch is needed but I’d pay to see him do it again. I think Crawford let up after he knew Spence had no chance. Spence is a great fighter. Crawford is a generational fighter. #1 PFP and in the ATG conversation. That was as brutal a one sided beating as you will ever see in a super fight. I’m happy because I’m a Crawford fan but shocked at how easy he made it look. Walk in the park.
Spence has always been a level below Crawford. People always look for reasons or excuses for an under performance or a loss, he just simply wasn't good enough. No shame as he's still a tremendous fighter just Crawford is that good.
Car accident, drained at weight, his supposed alcoholism, blah, blah, blah, if any of this was true why did all you guys making excuses pick him to beat Crawford in the first place? The way you make it sound this should have been seen as a total mismatch when it was announced.
To be fair, some of the people mentioning these things picked Crawford for those very reasons .... Certainly a number said the car accident was the reason they were picking Crawford. So of course they're now claiming they were right. FWIW I don't think any version of Spence can beat Crawford. But I also think Spence was well below his best too for whatever reason.
