How much did the pressure from fans and media influence Canelo to fight Golovkin?

How much of an influence did they really have on him anyway? He still managed to delay the fight for two years and then got it in Nevada where the NSAC is in bed with his promoter. I am not denying those entities did not have some effect because ideally he would have dragged BJS to Las Vegas, picked up that belt by hook or crook then took an optional or two and made GGG wait another year or more.

Canelo and Oscar made running away from Golovkin way too noisy, if they had made a statement at the very start and given up the belt to concentrate on 154 then all the hype and pressure for this fight would not of ever materielized but instead they talked alot of smack, hung around with the belt, made promises and made predictions and mocked Golovkin all trying to save face, then they even dropped the belt and still talked smack. So the interest and questions about this fight never went away.

But saying that Oscar saw the interest in this one and the money it can produce and even though he always knew Golovkin would crush his little cash cow he wanted the money so always had it in mind, "WHEN THE TIME WAS RIGHT" ofcourse, to make this one happen, throw his piece of steak in with the Lion, let him get eaten and then get paid. His man is no real Middleweight but the what oil there was to be drained from the 154 division has been drained it was time to cash out against GGG.

The fans calling Alvarez El Pollo over and over again made the fight! Oscar and El Pollo did not want that fight, that's why they gave up the title rather than fight Golovkin, not they think Golovkin is older and not as good, but when in the ring Golovkin will become a monster, yes, the monster that El Pollo is so afraid of, El Pollo will lay an egg!

Jacobs really didn't yearn for that graft until he saw ''Brook'' expose GGG

And Canelo didn't crave that labour until he saw Brook and Jacobs ''expose'' him

But obviously the enormous amount of pressure fans and the media exerted on Canelo was a big factor in forcing him to locate his plums too

The pressure his own countrymen and people put on him played a huge part as well. Imagine seeing billboards with your face on everywhere you go with El Cobarde and El Pollo written on them

It was a combination of the fan pressure and taking the fight at the best time as well. This fight will make more money now than 2 years ago

Some dude who always covers Golden Boy events said that it was most certainly the case. Whenever there was a GP event, event without Canelo or Oscar, media would ask about that fight. Imagine 12 months of that.

Honestly, I don't think the fans pressure influenced Canelo at all,
I think he's prideful as hell and wanted the fight. I think the fans'
pressure did influence Oscar and Golden Boy to release the reigns
and allow the fight to happen. I think Oscar didn't want this fight at all.

Oscar has been quoted saying that the Canelo-GGG fight was going to happen on Sept. 2017 for a year now. I'm sure it was in the plans to let the fight "marinate".

Now the fight is going to happen exactly when Oscar said it would, and we have a bunch of Gennady Golovkin fanboys STILL CRYING :llorona: lol..

You guys need to geta grip.
