How much did Ward make fighting Gatti?

    I know, my buddy is Ward and Ecklund's nephew. He was telling me we might go to the Boston premier but the date has changed so many times I don't know what to believe. My friends Dad never turned pro but fought Ray Leonard as an amateur. Anyway, I've never been to Mass... my friend was raised by his mother in Maryland.

    Thanks for everybody's 2 cents. Good to know a blood and guys warrior like Ward was being conpensated accordingly. Also looking forward to "The Fighter." Can't wait to see the flick mark Mark Whalberg calls "the most realistic boxing movie ever." Dude said he trained 6 years for the role.
     
  4. There's a reason why the trailer barely shows any of the fight scenes... My guess is that to non-boxing fans, it will look brutal because they'll slow the shots down big time to boost visual impact. But to boxing fans, everyone knows you can't look like you got caught cold coming in unless you actually got caught cold.
