How much do fighters like those on FNF make?

I have oftened wondered how much they make. I think the kind of C level fighters, like those who make up the majority of the fighters on Friday Night Fights, don't really make too much when they win, do they?

Anyone have even a ballpark figure, as to what a Robert Hawkins level fighter would make for beating Guinn? Or a Vinnie Maddelone fighting someone else like Shannon Miller, on TV?

I've heard from a bantamweight whos 3-0 that he gets paid 4 grand for a 4 round bout. Win/loose or draw.

I thought it would have been more than that, even for a bantam.

Ive wondered this recently as they have a limited budget and quite a few fights on..and all fighters are not C level fighters..some B and every now and then an A fighter...As a fighter the motivation would obviously be the exposure you get from fighting on free cable. I'm sure the pay cant be too bad though..just not hbo or showtime levels but still fair

I dont think anyone whos not on the inside know how much Hawkins or Guinn made for there fight, after they pay there trainers, cut man, promoters, and taxes, they probably make around 100,000 take home.

I think Ding would have a good insight on what FNF fighters make for there fights, He will probably tell you how much he made roughly if you ask him.

it truely depends on what kind of ticket seller they are and there status.

despite all i here about ppv and this ammount of money and that ammount of money 99.9% of american boxers are on surprisngly low ammounts given the numbers that some fighters get.

i read a peice a long while ago about antwun echolls and it said the main event tv minumum was $36k and they were trying to get him to agree to a lower figure which he refused and was pulled.

my guess is now even main event fighters get as little as $10k and that $20k would be acceptable to most espn fighters.

but $200k would not be out of the question for top prospects or name fighters.

put bums on seats and get high viewing figures and they will pay you more, basic economics.

100,000 is way too large of a figure for a FNF journeyman fighter like Guinn or Hawkins. I think some boxers and inside people on here said ESPN particularly is known to pay fighters small amounts.

I would doubt either got a 100,000 purse nevermind 100,000 take home pay .

But as others said Ding would have a good idea of the figuires .

I dont know, Guinn is still a name. He might of got a little less than that, but Im sure he got that much when he fought Audley Harrison a couple years back, and probably when he fought Chambers.

ESPN stopped paying their $50,000 fee to promoters years ago. It's a large reason why their cards went badly downhill.

There is NO way that either Guinn or Hawkins made anywhere near 100 G last night. I'd guess $15,000 or so, but that's just a guess.

A B or C level fighter on an undercard could make as little as $100 per round.

    That's what I think, too.

I didn't think they'd make anywhere near 100,000, clear, after paying all their men. That'd mean they'd have to gross alot more than that to end up with $100,000,for themselves.

I was thinking more along the lines of $25,000 to $50,000, before they pay everyone. I wouldn't think that the budget would be big enough to pay out huge sums to the fighters, given that they have to pay more, the following week. Just my quess. But I'd like to hear Ding give his input on it, if he's allowed to, that is.

Do you think Audley Harrison got that when he fought Guinn a couple years back?
