I know this can vary massively but I was thinking more of wrestlers who travel up and down the country from one event to another at small venues.
From my experience and knowing quite a few female wrestlers, the amount they make (in small venues, Wrestling Entertainment), per year, varies widely, from maybe $30,000 a year to $100,000 a year. In the WWE, a top female wrestler could make $500,000 a year. The men usually make more. In session wrestling (real submission wrestling, no sex, just wrestling), in our general area, a woman can make anywhere from $300 to $500 per hour. At real submission private wrestling clubs, a woman can make $2500 to $10,000 per event, depending on the club. Inter-gender real submission wrestling pays the most for a female. (Those are illegal, or strongly discouraged, in many places, so they are often listed as wrestling exhibitions. It is the same in many places for Inter-gender sessions, so those are sometimes listed as training sessions.)
