how much do sky pay ?

    just curious if anyone knew wat the goin rate is for a decent euro/british title fight ? anyone know how much sky sports pay for the tv rights for these events ? even a slight idea

    I don't know how much they pay but the Friday night fight show it's self is pretty poor done.

    theres a minimum and a maxiumum.

    a promoter like warren or maloney will go to sky and say what fight he wants to out on, and negotiate between a minimum and a maximum fee for the fight and tv date.

    its around 50k for a live British/Commonwealth title fight. European and eliminators will be a bit more, and world title fights more again.

    sky probs paying aorund 100k for the Mayweather fight next week, but would of paid no more than 20k for the Berto card.
