You are just trying to make me mad at this point. Everybody is two ****ing weight classes above where they fight. That is such bull****! Bring back day of the fight weigh ins and stop the madness.

Some of these fighter weights fluctuate a little. B-Hop was 182 for Kovalev but I think he was 186 for the rematch against Pascal. Kovalev was 188 for that fight but that was the heaviest weight of his career. He was 181 for Sillakh and the most he'd weighed prior to B-Hop was 185. Lomachenko was only 129 for his debut against Jose Ramirez.

I'm quite surprised by how much some boxers are able to re-hydrate, some people are fighting well above the weight limit for the weight class - just taking the first example from the link

Andy lee Vs Mat Korobov (at middle-weight)
    167.5 lbs Vs 172lbs

so 7.5lbs over and 12lbs over respectfully

It would be better if they did , fighters having to enter the ring at roughly the same weight in the correct weight divisions it would be great

Same day weighin's are too dangerous...

i think the IBF have it spot on with their rehydration rule

No they aren't what makes it dangerous is trainers and promoters not putting fighters in the right weight divisions

An alternative could that fighters can't weight more than 4 pounds over the weight limit 6 hours before the fight

Margarito would always put on ungodly amounts of weight overnight.
