    Bookies do not set odds based on pre-fight analysis. They set opening odds based how they think people will bet, and then adjust them according to actual betting. If you're a serious boxing fan, capable of decent head to head analysis, forget betting odds. They're next to meaningless.

    Kind of true. All a bookie really wants is balanced action. A good line for a bookie/ Vegas is one that doesn't expose him to unbalanced action from both sharp, professional bettors, and the general public. When a bookie gets 50/ 50 wagers on a ten cent line, he can't lose.

    Line movement is usually caused by a book trying to balance its action.

    Hes been the best 154 lb fighter for the past 4 years. It isnt saying much though since 154 hasnt been a great division the past few years with an old DLH, old Forrest, old Quartey, slow Spinks and Mora.

    57. Just got back from a 6.4 K walk. I was doing 10K most of the summer. Along with some running thrown in. I'm in the "normal" range on BMI charts and still calling your sorry ass out to post your secret analysis of Pavlik/Williams. Is it really so far off the wall you are embarrassed by it? Feel what you want, but post your analysis. :deal
