Me I have always been 50/50 when it comes JC because he beat one of my favourite fighters of all time in Eubank.

Joe was (and Reid freely admitted as much after the fight) a far superior boxer to Reid. Reid was so psyched up about their fight that he overcooked himself for the first few rounds. After that, Reid landed the heavier shots but Calzaghe was the better boxer. I'm of the opinion that there wasn't as much wrong with Joe's hand in that fight as he says. Certainly not enough to stop him punching with it. I think it just came down to a poor performance on the night. There's no controversy in a Calzaghe win, he was clearly the better boxer but a close win nonetheless because Reid would hit Joe clean once or twice a round.

Reid knew he was the underdog and knew he couldn't outbox Calzaghe so afterwards (when he claims he won the fight), coming closer than even he expected, is enough to convince him he won.

Even if calzaghe get beat I will still like him, he has been in a few good fights and they are usually exciting.
10 years champ and fought two perceived big risks in kessler and lacy in recent fights and took care of business.

The 0 is good to have but its not the end if a fighter loses it.
It certainly wont make you the best boxer ever with it.

Oh yeah and really see american Challengers coming to Britain to fight the best. WHO the **** gives two shiny shites that JC didn't go to America to fight. Also its not is fault that he was born in the wrong era of the SMW division. You arrogant Yank.

Spare yourself the Starie fight mate. Trust me on that one.

Veit 2 is worth seeking out for the utter contempt Joe shows him in his own backyard. Joe walks through everything Veit throws with a lack of defence. Veit was petrified of Calzaghe I & II.
