how much do you reckon fighters actually care about their fans?

Seriously? I mean I believe we are WAY down the pecking order.

    I believe...

#1 by a country mile is $$$$ the fact we have so much crap politics in this sport for me proves the no.1 thing is $$$$. Nothing comes close.

#2 The fighters pride and ego.

    #3 the fans.

We all love Tyson for example but he was fleecing the fans with the last few of his fights. He basically admitted his heart checked out from boxing years before his body did and that he was only fighting on for $$$$ my #1 listed above.

David Haye (yes I'm a fan albeit a frustrated one) talked so much crap when he had no belt about how they're all bums and hes only interested in the very best top fights out there...and what happens when Wlad offers 50-50 with no options? Nope its not enough $$$$...again my no.1 point proven again.

Now dont get me wrong here I do understand that these guys wanna secure their future so they can have a good life after they've left the sport, and the fans dont take any health risks or punches on the chin...but from a fans point of view in an ideal world there would be 1 governing body and money shouldnt dictate the sport. Unfortunately that of course is never going to happen so maybe a bit more straight honest talking from the fighters?
