Dude :patsch You just dont get it, he is doing 20 reps. Thats 20 reps not 1 rep not 5 reps but 20 reps. You say you weigh 160? Lets see how long it takes you to be able to bench 185 20x. When you get there let me know and tell me if you didnt have to work hard or that its a small feat. You say you can do it 7x? There is a big difference between 7 reps and 20 reps.

    Lol, I'm aware.

I'm just saying the people who think it's "impossible" for humans to lift that kind of weight are morons. (and for me it would be less than 185, because 25lbs is proportionally a hell of a lot more than 160, than it is to 225-150lbs)

Ok i agree that its not impossible but it is impressive. Ive been lifting seriously for a year and at 200lbs that would be equivelant to me benching 220 for 20 reps. Im not there yet even though ive been working hard and working for strength im at 14 reps for 225. For Wlad to not lift for strength 275x20 reps is definitely impressive. Thats better than a lot of NFL guys at the combine. Where they test them on how many reps they can do with 225.

PS ok try 175 x20 that is 1.1 your weight. The equivalent of Wlads lift 1.1

This isn't the point at all, the point is his 20rep max and 1rep max do not tally up, if he could do 20reps/15reps with 275lbs, his 1 rep max would be much higher. Chef ****ed the numbers up with his guess work. Plus he doesn't realise anyone using weights typically doesn't operate around the 20rep bracket

Basically Chef got exposed on his numbers not adding up, he wouldn't get exposed on the numbers if he was telling the truth

Evan Field didn't have a big chest before he started training with Lee Haney and started whacking GH into himself.

Tyson and Liston where naturally bulky men. They would have had big chests with or without training.

I wouldn't use Tyson as an example as he is a MENTALIST and by all accounts trained like a power lifter. I don't remember Mike having great stamina.

Throwing good punches doesn't come from the chest. It's just unnecessary bulk to carry a big chest around.

They'd embarass some of the guys in the NFL combine with those numbers. Doesn't surprise me though.

The whole point of all of this **** was doing 18 with 225 and then doing 15 with 275.

That's where the flag got raised.

im a moron? ive been working out for over 15 years at some pretty hardcore gyms and most bodybuilders cant do 275 for 20 reps. These are people who devote all their training time to to lifting weights. Wlad is not a bodybuilder he is a boxer. At 6'6 240 lbs he is skinny. any 240 lb person who can bench 275 for 20 reps is very impressive... anyone who knows working out would know it is way harder for tall people with long arms to bench as opposed to a shorter person with shorter arms.

i believe he can do 275 for 20 reps as much as i believe the guy on here who can only bench 225 for 18... which he finds embarassing but its only because he doesnt work out.

    gimme a break....
