Look at this sleazy, failed attempt to cheap-shot Tony Bellew: This content is protected I'm done with David Haye. He is - and always has been - a bum.
Obviously we have the toughest posters ever, or more likely the most pathetic TROLLS ever. How are our "fans" not even a little surprised haye tried to fight on with a ruptured Achilles, you aren't supposed to be able to stand, for tuck sake
Unless he can get himself down to 210 lbs he's done for good. He looked like a black teenage mutant ninja turtle against Bellew.
Haye did go a long way to redeeming himself I think, Now he should fight The Cannon to silence the remaining critics!
I bet you selectively forgot the even cheaper shot superman head butt from Ortiz that caused him to retaliate. No idea why everyone just points their finger at Floyd in that fight. Just haters.
Haye was an elite cruiser weight in his prime far from a "bum" i would love to stack his accomplishments up against your's. He could have conducted himself better in the build up to this fight HOWEVER, immediately after the fight he was man enough to give bellew full credit and make no excuses and in his latest sky interview he has admitted he underestimated bellew and now has full respect towards him. Hes conducted him self after his loss in pretty much the best way possible. Nothing more he can do, people make mistakes and have to eat humble pie, Its how the handle it and so far hes doing all the right things. People that continue to hate have their own issues they need to get over. This is what boxing is about, people get in the ring beat **** out of each other and hug it out afterwards with new levels of respect for each other.
Haye had great potential and great genetic gifts for boxing. Natural power, speed and explosiveness. In his prime he was an elite cruiserweight that could give any modern super HW problems. The problem with his legacy is that he chose money fights over solid legacy long time ago, he always acted entitled and created a lot of noise but if you look at his resume it doesn't have that much substance. His name was always up there with the elite but who did he beat really? Fair enough, it's prizefighting, but he could have had much more out of his career. Also, he never bothered to implement boxing fundamentals into his style and his style of boxing is just terrible for the body. If you continously look to explode and land the right hand your body will deteriorate quickly. It leads to back injuries, hand injuries and foot injuries. For this sort of style he's just way too old at 36. If you want to be an elite fighter when you're past 35 years of age you need to box like Wlad or Hopkins. At the end I think he's just a bigger but inferior version of Roy Jones Jr. without the variety of fancy moves. I think he could have been an ATG if he had a trainer who would be able to instill discipline into him, teach him solid fundamentals as well as create a more diverse and efficient style around his athleticism that would involve much more than just trying to land the right hand. With his raw athleticism he could have been something like HW Lomachenko.
Haye was desperate at that point and wanted to win at all costs. You really think his mind was 100% at that moment?
He doesnt suck he was the unified cruiser weight world champion and a belt owner at heavy. What he is is a liability and a let down. Blame cancelled fights, broken promises and poor perfomances on injurys by all means, i believe he was injured every time he said so but its still ends up with him letting people down and not even nearly doing the things he has claimed he will do.
