David Haye was by far the most overrated heavyweight of the last 10 years and probably among the top 2 or 3 most overrated heavyweights of all-time.

He was a good cruiserweight, but even there he was overrated.

His resume is extremely shallow relative to the praise he gets.
He's just never had the amount of ability that so many people imagine him to have.

Just about the worse thing with Haye on his so called come back was his obvious attempt at making a big pay day with AJ,actually him fighting two total bums who only threw one punch between over two rounds is what undone him I think,Bellew was spot on and called him out on it about having the fans off,Bellew say what you like was match hardened through fighting whereas Haye was the total opposite,I hope we seen the last of him to be honest cause how can you get behind a fighter who has no interest in being a champion?

 

I think Haye kept going to be sure he got his £4m purse and kept open the door on a rematch. If he'd limped away after a couple of rounds it might have impacted finances.
