How Much does it cost a tv channel to put on an event?

    It depends on the level of coverage. I've put together day long shoots for £5,000 but these were simple, single camera jobs, with one sound guy, one operator and a producer. No live broadcast, no complex set up.

    With all those factors you could easily be at £25-30,000, but likely more.

    Sky have historically paid around £65k for domestic shows.
