I applaud you for your honesty if that's the case; it seems like a number of the Ward "fans" on here are fans out of convenience because he's the boogeyman that was supposed to take GGG down. When it comes time to actually talk about Andre's career alone, with no Golovkin, they're nowhere to be found. Andre is only as useful to them as he is able to stop Golovkin from getting more popular.

1. In 2012 Golovkin was what he is today; A nobody.
Golovkin offered nothing to Ward for taking his scalp. Golovkin's hairpiece was worth $2 and Ward didn't need no dam toupee. Little g needs to build up his resume and fight somebody.

2. In 2012, Ward was busy knocking out Chad Dawson. A much bigger fish than Little g.

To date, Little g has ducked Ward, Hopkins, Lara and Quillin.
You laugh like a munch-kin but Guerrero's resume is 10x better than Little g's.
Win or lose, Robert Guerrero has fought Casamayor, Mayweather, Katsidis, Berto, Thurman, Escobedo. He is four for six with loses to Mayweather and Thurman.

Ward Vs Kovalev will be the fight of the decade. Little g will be watching, at home washing his tights and planing his rematch with Willie Monroe. :yep

Thanks Doc. In the interest of being fair, there are some long term Ward fans like Rumsfeld and Pimp C (and a few others I'm missing). I have no issues with the real fans and respect them- they back their guy and have for years. They know his career hasn't gone according to plan the last few years and want to see him bounce back. Again, perfectly respectable.

These fly by night guys using Ward as a proxy for their GGG hate don't even give a damn about him. I doubt they follow his career with any genuine interest at all for its own sake. If they did, they'd be a little more concerned with why Victor Conte is on the payroll and James Prince is running the show. None of that matters to them, though. The minute he gets beat, they'll throw Ward to the trash heap like yesterday's news.
