To get to the top, or to be one of the fastest, or most powerful , or most accurate boxers, how much of that depends on talent. Or can anyone get to a masterful stage of speed/power with just lots of hard work and dedication?

Power is something you're kind of gifted with. Same with speed. Either way you need the work ethic and dedication to get to that level.

    6 months....impossible.
Unless you were using PEDs, Rock-Jaw, or intensive wall-sit training.
    Otherwise, forget about it.

Some would say that Joe Frazier had above average talent but world class heart and work ethic. I think he trained even a little longer than six months!:D

Some of these comments are silly, especially the one about 6 months!

    Anyone else?

can't teach speed or power or chin the amount of bone we have and slim hips make for efficient running and jumping! Top athletes have 20/8 vision and reacted to light at 150 milliseconds most expel air from their lungs 90 -100%. Read the SPORTD GENE, by David Epstein. Read it or or I'll SPANK!
