Donald Thomas a high jumper from the Bahamas was crowned the 2007 world champion on his winning jump of 8'2 feet. he had 8 months of training prior to his win he had never entered into competition. If you can train to be a world 2007 high jump champion after 8 months of training, you can be a world boxing champion after 6 months of training.
ok virus train for 10yrs on how to do the high jump and if you can surpass your maximum jump by just 1 inch I'll retrack every thing I said. Bet my pension that we'll never see you float over an 8'2 pole vault like Thomas after 8 months of training.
This is a boxing forum, theres alot more aspects to boxing than the high jump. so you can see why people think your trolling.
If you think I couldn't increase my high jump in 10 years of training you're a ****ing moron. Since I don't participate in high jump I'd have to agree with this statement. If you're not trolling and you're actually comparing the simplistic run and jump of the high jump to the highly skilled aspects of boxing you truly are the thickest guy on this forum, and that's saying something.
have you seen that website www.eastsidehighjump.com theres a run section jump section thrust section and a landing section. its brillaint.
the ability to jump has every thing to do with boxing haven't you heard the command jump on him. Glen Johnson was a jumper prior to boxing and he used it to jump close to Roy Jones and cut the ring off, it was the first time anyone got close to quick footed Jones.
virus do you have anything to contribute to the forum. We are having a intellectual conversation on physical attributes needed to be a world champ. Do you have any scientific knowledge to bring to the table.
hey kiniumi how did your fight go at spruce grove last Saturday I fought a dude from spruce grove boxing club and I KO'd him with a jab in the first round
is there a chance your name is Dave closeguard? im not sure exactly what happend but after a a jab landed in the first round my eye was in a lot of pain so i backed up as much as i could to asses the damage (potential thumb, back of glove or just how the punch impacted). upon realizing the eye that was hit was crossed with my other eye and in a shitload of pain i decided it would be foolish to get permanent damage this early in my career and so i took a knee so I would be counted out. ended up having to go get it checked out by the hospital (after the ring doctor informed me my eye was damaged upon looking at it and said i need to go get it checked at the hospital). a shame the match had to end that way the way it was progressing would have made it a really fun fight all the way to the end. as of today its still painful to strain my eye and i will be able to resume training next week on monday
I've done my fair share over the years. Some people have posted something that could be seen as "intellectual" to a degree. Everything you have posted on the other hand has been illogical bull****. Plenty. I'm not the problem here.
