It can only be estimated, I think. For example, a week before the fight Usyk was 93,5 kg (206 lbs), a month before the fight — 95,7 kg (211 lbs).
SO if he was to fight Wilder, we could expect him to be 210-215. Wilder himself is only in 220-230 lbs range. He just needs to get close and inside on Wilder's jab while avoiding that lethal right.
Yeah, i dont see Usyk getting alot better at heavy by putting on alot of weight, i think he is more dangerous as a heavy being under 215 for maximum stamina, speed, agility etc.
Historically, guys his size come into the ring at between 205 and 215 pounds. That's the trim version. Muscular guys and fat ****s can weigh significantly more than that.
Here he is weighing in for a fight at SHW in the WSB 96.1kg which Google informs me is 15st 1lb This content is protected
He is 6'3" He is a light heavyweight fighting at cruiser. Those true heavyweights might be too much for him after viewing his last fight if he continues that style. He's not a heavy hitter to start with, so he is going to have to be defensive.
He said he didn't eat or drink 24hrs before the weigh-in in order to make the 200lb weight limit against Briedis.
Nah he's a genuine CW. He might not be rehydrating a lot of weight after the weigh in but he's a big dude and making CW isn't easy for him. There's not a chance in hell he could get down to 175 either. I do think it would be a good idea if he used his legs more when he eventually moves up to HW and faces giants like AJ who can really bang too.
Usyk weighed 208 on fight night for one fight. I think he plans to weight no more than 120 at the most after getting used to the weight, but no more than that..................I saw Usyk easily beat Joyce, who is 6 feet 6 inches tall and out-weighed Usyk at a huge amoung......................
He could with an intensive diet and training regimen, but it wouldn't be desirable. Michael Spinks and Bob Foster were that big but still fought at light heavyweight. It can be done, the same as natural light heavys sometimes shrink themselves down to middleweight.
