Canelo is much younger, has a massive Mexican following and has the omnipresent Golden Boy machine behind him. It seems as if De La Hoya is grooming him to be his next heir.

This fight is going to bring massive PPV numbers, and if Canelo wins you have the possibility of a trilogy.

Then you have one of the judges from the Pacquaio/Bradley fiasco and anything can happen.

I think Floyd win win a convincing decision tommorrow, but how much chance does Floyd get the shortend on the scorecards presuming the fight is close?

Have a good chance on this one. Oddsmaker price Floyd lower than it should be judging by how mast majority feels like that Floyd is just going to win yet again.

That and Floyd is 36 and on his way out while Canelo is the new rock star from mexico.

Mayweather needs to win 8 rounds, if it's 7-5 then the judges will find some way to take one round from floyd and give it canelo for the draw and possibly even SD for Canelo.

my thinking all along is if this fight is remotely close they're going to rob floyd right in his adopted hometown.

    Don't think so.
He has his own personal judge (Moretti) who will score it clear for Floyd as the fight is close. Saul might have Ross, and the other guy (Metcalfe) has no history of unfair scoring.

And then there's the referee (Bayless) who is one of the best in the bizz and might be intense but always fair.

I think people see ghosts where there are none in this case.

I'm starting to think about droppin' some bread on a DRAW...

Auto re-match with both fighters STILL undefeated :deal

would be a hell of a pay out too

    Well, let me put on my tinfoil hat;

Floyd will use his influence w/the IRS to get to the judges so as to sell his "0" for a gigantic bet on Canelo while simultaneously creating a monster rematch where he gets to play the injured party which he calculates will finally win him the sympathies of the fans that he has craved for so long.

    How bout that?

You *****s crack me up, if anyone has a chance of getting robbed on the cards here is Canelo

There's a shitload of money invested in Floyd's last 5 bouts, Showtime, GBP, sports bettors, etc. Floyd's bouts generate tons of money for Las Vegas economy alone. Oscar, his goons and many other people will try to milk Floyd's last matches as much as they can, it'd be devastating for them if Floyd loses his value now

Canelo on the other hand, has a long future ahead of him and there's no reason they cant rebuild him as a cash cow with the right opposition. He's the underdog to begin with, we know he's really green for this kind of match and probably weight drained to boot, the media and fans wont be too hard on him if he loses, as long as he doesnt get completely humilliated

    If there's a fix, it'll be on Floyd's side

Honestly, more realistic than they ought to be. It may be another Pac-Bradley scenario where they screw the old vet to keep the younger guy's zero intact.

Also, if they can find a way to stretch this into a rematch/trilogy, it'd be huge money.
