    No, what mainly got the media attention (here in the states anyway) between Chris Brown and Rhianna was the overall savagery of the beating, which was only understood once the pics surfaced.

    Before those pics came out, some folks were making it that Chris Brown didn't so anything and that it was blown out of proportion.

    I'm definitely not arguing that Chris and Rhianna aren't more famous that Mayweather and his no-name baby mamma, BUT you have to understand that gossip rags here do not care. Whatever, if he gets no time and she takes the money, we all know what's up. He probably smacked her, but it wasn't a beat down.
