If you ever watch this guy it's remarkable how one dimensional and basic he is. Yet he is regarded by many as the #1 LMW in the world, despite his shortcomings in technique. I should add his ranking is deserved. He doesn't duck or run away from anybody. But the guy blocks punches with his nose. You thought Carl Froch was caveman like with his style? Hurd takes it to a whole new level. Every fight he just walks through everybody. He just comes right through people and the punches just don't seem to faze Hurd. At all. It's like hitting a brick wall, he just won't bend. Everybody has a breaking point, but the guy looks like a piece of iron right now. Hands down the most exhausting and grueling fighter in boxing right now. He eats everything you have right on his face. Just gobbles up punishment like desert. And then he never seems to run out of gas. You keep thinking ok, the tank is now starting to empty, it has to. But then the round ends and he sits on his stool and refuels with more gas. And then he just goes on and blocks more punches with his face and then you wear down and then he stops you.
