How much longer do we have to suffer RJJ in the booth?

LMFAOOO showtime commentary is fckin awful to listen to, they seriously put me to sleep. My grandparents could do a better job commentating a fight, other then paulie m. Hbo 1000x > showtime

 

I like Roy, He has trouble articulating at times but he's honest and he keeps Kellerman and Lampley in check when they start talking that bull****.

 

Na I like Rj's commentating. He's not as biased as some commentators like Max and Paulie, tho both are good, they tend to be biased towards either slick boxer types like Paulie does or successful Olympic pedigree like Max. Roy just tells it like it is, even hyperventilates sometimes like he's in the fight, lol, but he's never biased. Nobodies perfect tho, Bernstein is the most unbiased and professional, but he doesn't have the charisma and won't get a casual fan into a fight like Lampley would. Mexican commentator Dr. Morales is definitely the best ever tho. Last of the old school commentators he's unreplaceable for boxing.

 

Roy Jones Jr. TKOs Ward on the mic. Ward narrates like he fights. In a boring, monotonous voice. RJJ has personality or charisma or whatever you want to call it.

 

He is okay...sometimes he is annoying...especially when he talks about a fighter's chin.

 

I like Roy but sometimes he makes no sense at all. He said last night that Juanma didn't have the experience or the power of Lomachenko when he fought Salido. That's the opposite of true. lol It's the literal opposite of reality.

 

All this hate hahaha!

 

I can't understand it either. He can't speak and what he says is laughable the majority of the time. He may add something useful every one in a while, but it is a rarity when that happens. More often than not, he makes little sense. He offers no education to the viewers, which should be his primary job as a fighter on the mic.

The guys in china last week were far worse then roy. You could have had RJJ, James Toney and Holyfield and not been as bad

overall roy is pretty darn good.
every now on then he has sum off nights.

i like him better then anyone on hbo.
actually him and ward are the best.

lampley and max sometimes can really **** me off.
but sum nights there really good.

i love how last nite lampley n max were doggin texas and lawrence cole
cuz alot of questionable **** goes down in texas

an lawrence cole is one of the worst refs ever

 

RJJ is great at his job. Better than his showtime counterpart tarver.
