All I see every day here is constant Hatton hate threads. You could merge all these threads together and they would all say the same thing. Don't you guys think you're being a bit over the top? How much longer do we have to sit here witnessing millions of Hatton hate threads? It's becoming really tiring. Time to move on. WHat we already know and don't need to be reminded of for the next 25 years: * Hatton has no defense * He comes in face first * PBF made him his ***** * Hatton fights dirty * Callazo won * Everyone wants to fight him now * All of a sudden anyone can beat him * Hatton will avoid everyone except Floyd in a rematch * Hatton is only doing it for the money Etc.
You'll always witness hate threads. You'll notice fewer once there are more fights for people to talk about (which means January-February), and possibly after Hatton's next match (although hate threads will also revive). It's a phase. Another fight will happen, another fighter will be ripped (on the forum). By the way, there's a difference between hate threads and constructive critisicm. I enjoy reading the knowledgeable posts that go into the fight and technique rather than just aiming (without any explanation) at the fighter, his character etc...
People need to get a hobby, a girlfriend, or shut the f up. There is so much more to talk about. I'm just waiting to be pounced on with the "you're just bitter because your national pride got crushed" (which it didn't).
I understand what you mean, but at the same time, there's a whole list of fighters you could list off that get more hate on here than Ricky. It's just how it goes.
Because most of PBF huggers or Ricky haters genetically would always be that. Let them enjoy, believe me soon they will move on if someday an event outcome would go unfavorable to them.
Why don't people change their ways? Start now. I think it's bad for boxing. We should be supportive, in my opinion. Anyone who has ever boxed will know it takes a giant pair of balls to step in the ring and put your life on the line. We all have favourites, I understand this, but there is no reason not to show respect for the other fighter, he's just trying to do his job, provide some entertainment, and earn a living. It's all a bit sad really. BTW, nice avatar, Koko.
Well I'm glad to know someone else agrees. Sometimes I wonder if it's even worth sticking around here, but then a post crops up which makes me realize there are some decent, intelligent people here. Cheers.
Well Hattons style makes him a controversial fighter. He's easy to dislike. I guess he's the sort of guy you either love or hate. It seems right now every body hates him. I'm sure it will settle down soon.
With great fighters come even greater haters. This place is great because everyone makes it interesting and it's good to see the different opinions. You can't take the hate mail personal - cause these guys in here are like Sharks when they smell blood.
its amazing at how the fans hate hatton so much and how everyone fills hatton was exposed... lets not forget he was beating the p4p #1 thru the first 6 rnds. fact is he gives up too much reach/ height to some guys at 147. ps * pbf dirty fighter. ie elbows
it was a great fight. better than most pbf snoozers like oscar/pbf. i wouldnt mind seeing it again although i dont know if anything would change. but i would really like to see cotto/mayweather
