A lot of fighters get hated on. Look at Paulie Malignaggi. The kid has mostly every skill in boxing but power but people hate on him still. They use the fight with Cotto when he fought his heart out and they say he sucks because Cotto drained himself to make weight but don't remember that Cotto weighed 157 the night of the fight. I not a Hatton fans but if Hatton as good as his fans think of him he will come back and shut up his haters. All fighters have fans that are haters but it better to be hated on than not talked about at all.

 

Ok hatton gets beat by floyd mayweather, the consensus p4p number 1 fighter on the planet and he his a fraud. So are the other 38 opponents that fought floyd frauds, oscar, castillo, corralles,Chavez to name a few. Witter who has he fought world class harris, ChopChop and Judah and u still call hatton. Did u read the article on the bbc saying he will fight witter in one of his next five fights. First lets see if he can get his proposed fight with Paulie first and beat him before hatton beats paulie at madison square garden!

mayweather beat hatton at his own game and KNOCKED HIM OUT!!!

and mayweather is no puncher!!! lots of people called him a ***, a runner and so on.

its the way he lost that got him exposed imo.

 

I have seen is Stand up routine it is quite funny. He most of got his tips from Bernard manning. Leaving his racist jokes out he was very funny and witty and he even cracked america with his routine.

 

It was not a one punch KO it was the volume of punches over time. Yes hatton did get beat at his home game, and i am not making any excuses but Cortez did not like hatton fight on the inside.

 

There are plenty of other fighters that get more flack besides Ricky Hatton on this board.

i didnt say that it was one punch. but it wasnt hatton taking an endless amount of flush shots !!!

it was one punch that put him down and on ***** street.

and considering pbf is no puncher, than this is a pretty embarressing result. and that got him exposed.

and regarding cortez, you say you are not making excuses. but fact is you are.

 

Hatton will be dissed for years to come just like zab judah and his chicken dance, getting ko'ed and hitting your head against the turnbuckle on the way down is classic. :yep
