If after expenses you are making less than your manager, promoter and maybe even your trainer, you need to reevaluate the people you surround yourself with.
Anyone who pays a % to their cutman is a moron.
Promoters taking cuts is ridiculous since they have the TV deals and such. Hearn has a deal with DAZN. DAZN pays them x amount for x amount of events. Now why would Hearn have his hand in your pie? If he offers you a purse, and you let him take a cut from that, you are a moron.
A manager taking 20% or w/e, that I can be fine with. Just look at the guy who handles Derevyanchenko and Jacobs. Those two are getting paid insane amounts. So clearly the manager is doing something right. He deserves his cut.

A trainer taking a %? I don´t really have any thoughts on this.

It depends on the fighter and the situation.

Eddie Hearn is paid by DAZN. But Hearn also takes 15% of Joshua's purses. I have no idea what Joshua's 'boxing manager' (in name only) takes because essentially Eddie Hearn is Anthony Joshua's boxing manager.

Eddie makes the boxing deals. Eddie negotiates with the rival managers and promoters. Eddie negotiates the site fees and stadium deals. Eddie negotiates the PPV deals. What Joshua's actual manager does from a boxing perspective, is minimal to zero. Seems like he's around to answer the calls when an advertiser offers Joshua a product endorsement or a commercial. But not much else.

Just looked it up. Joshua's manager's name is Freddie Cunningham.

You never hear about Freddie being on the phone with the Saudis. Or Freddie on the phone with the WBO. Or Freddie on the phone with Team Fury. Or Freddie negotiating with Usyk's guys.

Seems like Freddie is about as involved in negotiating Joshua's boxing career as Rory "Whatever Don King wants to do is right" Holloway was for Mike Tyson.

Whereas, when Bill Cayton managed Tyson, Cayton would negotiate what percentage a promoter got for each Tyson fight, the TV deals and the percentages Tyson would get from those, the networks hosting the fight and the film rights, the sites and the deals with the locations hosting the fights, product endorsement deals, TV appearances, TV and print interviews ... basically everything.

Freddie "Whatever Eddie Hearn wants to do is right" Cunningham seems to fit a similar mold as good ol Rory.

Depends from contracts boxer had signed with managers, gym, boxer's promoter.
There also is thing like agents. These usually does not have long term or exclusive contract with boxer but they gets $ if boxer get fight through their connections or ad deal. Ad deal is not under Ali act etc, this isn't fight purse, agent might took 0 or even 1/2 from $ from company for ad deal. Some companies are paying to ppl to get enough well known boxers advertise them and then they might happen that does not charge boxer at all, might happen that charge more than 1/3 from money paid by company for ad deal. After this also ofc is taxman. taxman depending from country where one is tax resident and income etc might take 10 maybe even 42% from remaining.
Justified expenses and all like this is stuff on accountant and tax advisors.

Cutman fee and corner fee, ofc % looks awful if lad earns a lot, what is if guy gets 300-1000 bucks for pro fight?
I know 2 world champs had get lesser than 1000 bucks for pro debut fight. To hire good cutman and cornerman for 100 bucks?
Ofc if prospect is former am superstar, he might even get sign up bonus alone more than someone for fight with 10-0-0 pro record.
All this depends from multiple variables.

Sparring partners too cost a lot and while with well known names is easier to get them, with noname not so easy to get good lads.

All this depends from contracts and everyone should not only just think what they are signing up.

Managers and agents, boxer's promoters too.
One thing is if they get you fight where you might climb up in rankings seriously and/ or get enough well known names on record, this is worth it, I think.
Another world is if they are milking formerly high level or very high level boxer on decline on loosing streak, where name and ranking still matters a lot but boxer is seriously over the hill.
It is called boxer's resume milking and ranking milking with % they might get from this. They gets fights cos boxer's ranking and resume and also cos he is over the hill and charge % for this.

I think Joshua is a bit different, because he signs deals with TV and so. I don´t think Hearn has anyone else like that.
