Opinions on who's better and who deserves the bigger purse aside, how much money will Pac and PBF make if the fight goes ahead with a 50/50 purse split? Im curious...

As in they each will get $35 million? Can boxing generate that kind of cash these days, even for a mega-fight like this? I haven't heard of a fighter making $35 mil for one fight since Holyfield fought Tyson the second time.

I think 35 is a bit high, not unreastically so, but certainly a higher end estimate. Easily 25+ each.

    BTW how you been man?

that's what I was thinking. I have been great my friend. Just living life/surviving. I found a great little Italian restaurant about 5 min. from my place, so I have been getting fed well, haha. How are you?

Working 50+ hours a week under a couple of truly amazing chefs, getting ready to go out on Phish tour this weekend, got last Saturday off (my first Saturday off since I started this job; took quite a bit of bribe money to get it covered, but was worth it to watch Pac make history) and loving life.

Good for you my friend. I am happy to hear that things are working out well for you. I can't wait to get out that way one day and eat at the Greenhouse Tavern. What do you recommend?

The fish dishes are always good. They have first pick of one of the best local seafood purveyors and one of the dishes we have been doing is a brook trout meuniere, although we recently switched to a halibut cassoulet (similar to a bouillabaise).

Honestly, everything is good. Let me know if you ever make it this way; I'll reserve the chef's table in the kitchen for you. :good

Mayweather-De La Hoya earned $120 million in PPV revenues, in addition to the live gate. I've read different totals, DLH made around $50 million or more, with Mayweather making over $20 million.

If Pacquiao-Mayweather makes roughly the same amount of money, then I'm guessing we can look at similar totals, with it obviously being closer to 50/50 than De La Hoya-Mayweather.

Bless you my friend, that sounds wonderful!! I gotta say I am really starting to eye the french dip and the Ohio beef burger. Might have to get both when I come out that way, lol. Thank you my friend, and remember, if you are ever in my neck of the woods, I know some of the best chefs in Seattle, so feel free to come out here and we will feast like the kings of old, haha.

Its should be 50/50 with the winner taking a extra 5 million from HBO or whoever the TV network is.

To me this would be fair.

If either push's for more the fight wont happen.

It might be a little different here since Oscar's company promoted the fight as well.
