Second fight Stade de suisse stadium at least 32'000 capacity. Sold out. RTL 3 million Euros. Plus the rest of the World wide tv rights. First fight. Color line arena 16'000 capacity. Sold out. I think RTL paid 3 million as well but not sure. Plus the rest of the World wide tv rights.
I've never actually had any interest in what boxers earn for fights. I know that if I pay to watch boxing then my money goes towards their pay, but it's still not my business what they earn. If a boxer goes public and announces what he got for a fight, then obviously it can be open for discussion, but even then we never really get to know the truth behind it all.
I don't see why fans shouldn't be interested. It's very common knowledge what Football players get paid, what their transfer fees and the like are, and seeing as money is the number one excuse why fights we want to see don't happen I like to know what the offfers were, whether they were reasonable or not compared to previous fights, and so on.
I believe football in this country has been ruined by money. If a player gets £100,000 a week and has a few bad games he gets crucified, accused of being greedy, lazy etc, etc. Also, because footballers' wages are only so high because they are so public first place. I can understand if others might find boxers' wages interesting, but I don't believe the money dictates how they train or how they fight, so I don't concern myself with it.
The first statement doesn't necessarily relate to the second. What the Klits earn has nothing to do with what their opponents do
