These two are going to splatter each other and give us fireworks. We haven't had a hich level bout like this in a while. They deserve their $$$. Contrast this to Floyd's farces fro 10x the money ...

 

It's possible they might take a small loss this time around because US tv didn't pick it up, but it probably wouldn't be near RocNation or early PBC kinda losses.
Don't forget that the biggest viewing audiences today are outside of the US, with far larger spectator and viewer numbers. When a free tv boxing match in the US does over 2 million views and a 20.000+ attendance, the forum here goes berserk... now compare those numbers to individual European or Asian countries and rethink the doom scenario some here expect. They very well might have made a decent profit afterall.
There's a reason why boxers like Abraham and Sturm could make multi million paydays fighting nobodies in Germany with the promotions and tv channels still making healthy profits, let alone a very anticipated WBSS final. Of course they wanted the US market, but usually Germany, the UK, Russia and a couple of other European countries will do fine.

They're doing a 2nd season. If it had been a total financial bust, they obviously wouldn't have done that.

And American USTV missed out on so very many good fights while so many times we have to watch bad sparring sessions on TV.....................mismatches..................fake and corrupt fixed fights............

 

25 million is not realistic at all, imho!
