HOW MUCH MONEY will MUNDINE/GEALE GENERATE?

Just tried this and the old lady at the next table had no ****ing idea who both were, not into boxing at all, Italian, hardly spoke a word of English....she seemed very uncomfortable with my persistent badgering there after as to why she didn't know Daniel Geale...I think I made her leave :good.....

Geale is not going to make 1 million + in any of his fights and in the fight with mundine he will make more than what he would make in 2-4 fights.

Mundine is WAY more bankable than Geale, and any Geale sack licker that pretends otherwise is seriously misguided.
Belts do not guarantee money, and not all boxers get these massive pay days you think.
Most GOOD boxers eek out solid $50k pays, with the odd 100K pay. Even some great world champs get $300k odd a fight.

Here is a good one for you , how much do you think Kats earnt agains JMM? Two massive name fighters on the international scene? Both world ranked?... You lot probably think he earnt a cool 2 million?

FACT is that love him or hate him, even though waning the Mundine brand sells and is known, he always will be worth more than Geale:bbb

 

as to how much it will make, a good pay but will not eclipse Mundine v Geale.

I would think something like this
1000 Licensed venues @ $1500 $1 500 000
10000 PPV purchases @ $50 $500 000
Less main event take -$150 000
remaining PPV $350 000
15000 Live venue @AVG $100 $1 500 000
Corporate revenue $500 000

Something Like that would be my guess, give or take,, so around the $4million mark.
Still a ****ing good pay, and likely (no matter the result) the biggest pay Geale will ever get (including any potential super fight vs SM, JCC, GGG)

if u pull your head out of your arse u will know that mundine has had very few viewers in recent times and cannot make $10 fighting o'seas either. he has basically no options to make good cash other than fighting geale or green again.

geale can make more even if it is o'seas. money is money, wherever u r when u earn it.

I work in the media with main event, and I can tell you for a fact that Mundines WORST PPV sale, was more than double Geales best PPV result.

Mundine could fight Sally Winder and make more money than Geale would get fighting GGG or SM right now

Undoubtedly, the biggest payday for Geale so far. It makes for a great match up in terms of specatacles. Mundine polarises fans (resulting in strong sales of ppv and tickets) and Geale is the 'bloke next door type'. The fact that Geale has/had 2 belts also gives the fight more legitimacy than say, Mundine fighting a nobody.
The fact is both bring something to the table. Mundine's antics will be what sells the fight and Geale's trinket is also another big selling point. The controversy over the first fight only adds to the marketability. This is potentially Geale's biggest payday unless he becomes a major superstar on the world stage and jags a fight against one of the top US fighters down the track....sorry, just my 2 cents worth...

 

How many club have a year round deal for all fights ? They pay nowhere near 1500? Isn't the PPV split 50/50 after product costs are taken out? Even really big events are at least one third give aways of the live gate ! Do you really work at Main event? Really?
