Do the math on that and apply the statement again

 

David Geale said in todays press that a fight with Mundine is his biggest payday since he fought him the first time in 2006 at aussie staduim

Well I would only count that as mundine PPV, Geale had zero input in that one and no one at all (not even his parents) knew who he was for that fight

 

Take out Licencing , Insurance , Advertising , Security , Cost of renting venue , GST , State and federal Taxes , Wages , Ring rental and Gloves , Undercard payments , Broadcasting costs , Freebies , etc and your 4 million gross gets carved up to 2 million bananas - wont be a 1/4 of the Green - Mundine fight .Plus most of Australias gunna be broke just after Chrissy and the school holidays

Maybe but Geale will make more from this fight than any other with far less risk and will be far better known should he win.

i don't know anybody that has watched a mundine fight for many years.

 

Buster I watch every Mundine fight, however I watch every single fight on PPV, and get to as many fights as I can.
Pretty standard every Sunday is BBQ and PPV day at my house, with the odd early sat morning and ofcourse local wednesday fights.
