How much more success could Chris Byrd have had with Lamon Brewster's power?

    These 2 are cousins but polar opposite. Brewster was raw, unrefined, and powerful.

    Byrd was skilled, slick southpaw with average power.

    How much more success could Chris Byrd have had with his cousin's Lamon Brewster's punching power?

    The poets would still be singing new songs about him.

    Byrd's main flaw was that he couldn't crack an egg at heavyweight. Combine his workrate, slipperiness with Brewster power? Jesus Christ.

    I do agree. Byrd would still have some limitations due to his height but he would be a top 2 heavyweight for sure.

    I remember Byrd back in the 90's he used to fight a lot of USA's Tuesday Night Fights. Back when he was a prospect, he actually had a lot of ko's due to an accumulation of punches and fighters getting so frustrated by not being able to hit him.
