How Much More Weight Did The Old-Timers Put On?

    Yes, two outliers that are now becoming the new rule. I'm not saying there are precedents for these or all the other drainers that abuse the longer interval between weigh-in and fight night- they should rightly be held to a different standard.

    When I asked you last you referred to Erik Morales as a small lightweight. At 130 pounds I think he looks smaller than Pep or Saddler- two classical featherweights. I hesitate, really, to call him a super featherweight. I only ask to determine which fighters belong in a class together.

    I know where you're coming from. But I wouldn't put Fullmer or Robinson in with someone like Chavez Jr. just based on principle alone; it's not consistent with the rules of boxing.

    Imagine you had access to every boxer in history, where would you categorize each such that every person is comfortably among people his own size?
