I know there are great fights almost every month of every year happening all around the world in terms of boxing, but what do you guys think this will do to the appeal of boxing as a draw for the average fan if Pacquiao Vs. Floyd doesn't get made?

With the even slight possibility of Floyd not facing Pacquiao, and instead going for people such as Matthew Hatton, or Pacquiao going for Paulie Malignaggi (which lets be fair people would be terribly dissapointed to see regardless of the outcome), is it really fair to deny the fans of this generation the biggest fight ever made in history (Which it almost certainly will be)?

There's been so much read into all the doping stories etc.. and speculation has been rife about who's done/said what, I really don't think it matters. This fight needs to be made, not only for the sake of boxing's present but also for boxing's future.

all i know is that history will show that floyd mayweather found another out of a dangerous fight. maybe people now will blame pac but 25-30 years in the future people will see pacs willingness to allways fight the best of his generation. the same cant and wont be said about floyd

Having had to get into stupid arguments with douchbags who know nothing about boxing about how Pac must be a juicer when they don't know **** about his career or credibility, this does throw a negative spin on the man who got everyday people talking about boxing again. Mayweather is a jackass for this ploy. This is why I yell "Bull****!" whenever I hear Mayweather say "boxing needs him". The man really wants to prove **** to me about Pac, do what Mosely did to Margarito and prove both in and out of the ring at the same time and make Pacquaio look like twice the fool if his claims are true.
