has to bring it. Make it a war and he could out-tough Wilder, force the already numerable errors WIlder makes and capitalize on them. Fury landed almost at will and he hits like a new born fish so if big DM can put some leather on him it will shake him up for sure.

Both are slow starters, first to land will tell us a lot.

As much as I think Wilder is a deluded paper champ and deserves to lose, I am looking forward to this one.

Plus I still want to see him destroyed by AJ to shut up a lot of fanatical idiots.

Well other than a lucky shot no real chance at all.. He seems to become better and better every thread made about this fight but the reality it he was beaten up by AJ and was no where near the level required to fight at the top.

Anyone really think he would be fighting Wilder if they didn't think Wilder would win. They had to bail him out the last 2 fights just to get him out of trouble.

I think Breazeale has the same kind of chance Williams had against Hurd.

Breazeale's best chance of winning is to make it an ugly fight. Go to the body and push Wilder to a place he doesn't want to be. If Breazeale smothers him, Wilder has no inside game and will be flustered. If he can do that and continue to go to the body, he can win. Wilder is nothing special and in the fights that he's stepped up (after 40 fights) he's looked average for the most part. He lost to Fury and he got help when he fought Ortiz so we will never know how that fight would have turned out without the extra seconds.

Breazeale is tough and durable but he’s going to eat a lot of right hands and get stopped, 5% at best.

I too have it way closer than most and leaning to the upset. The Fury fight might've knocked his confidence a bit, Tyson wasnt nearly as ready as he should've been and he still should've got the nod. I think this is a competitive fight, if Brezeale is serious

    Agreed
That blue print as been printed by a half in shape fury
Others just need to follow the hit and move plan
Easier said than done but with what's on the line there is nothing to lose

Breazeale is pretty damn tough, but he's going to need offense as well. If he hangs around getting tagged like he did vs AJ he's getting stopped. So his chances are not that great.

If I were his coach I'd get him to move in on Wilder, choke off the space for those long arms to generate leverage and rough him up inside. He needs to really take it to Wilder's beef jerky body and wrestle him around to gas him out. I think that if Breazeale can turn it into a mauling, spoiling fight and hurt Wilder's body he might have good chances later in the fight of cleaning Wilder's clock.

Nobody I've seen has really tried this out with Wilder, because Wilder is so easy to outbox. Thing is, you can outbox DW for 8 rounds straight, and then he lands one of his bunker-busters and its game over. And he nearly always does land them. Gotta take that weapon away from him.

He could win ugly I think, as you say, maul use weight up close, stick to him. I seriously think the belt could change hands if team Breazeale come in with a solid plan like that and he executes it
