How much of a chance do you have Jermell Charlo upsetting Canelo?

Oh you should bet on a KO, Canelo's gonna have the fire in his belly over all the **** talking the Charlos have done about him. He's knocked out much bigger, better and tougher men than Jermell who's been hurt a few times by lesser fighters if I recall correctly.

If Charlo fights with a good, well timed jab and uses good foot work, he can beat Canelo. He has the tools to do it. Especially if Canelo fights like he did against Bivol. Not writing off Charlo just yet. Nobody gets comprehensively beat by the same tactic twice in a career if that style isn't their weakness. Canelo has done that. A good jab combined with movement is the key.

Jermell has looked magnificent in his last fight. His skills and movement alone should trouble Canelo, despite the size disadvantage. Charlo also gets stronger down the stretch, while Canelo continues to show questionable stamina.
    Live underdog for sure.

35-40%, Canelo more than likely gonna win but Jermell has the right combination of attributes both physical and in ring to make it a competitive fight

Bivol whipped Canelo like a top, he schooled him, Canelo barely won a round. To me this debacle should not be sanctioned. Canelo has fought at 175 now hes picking on a 154 fighter in Jermell that's a 21 pound difference
oh how his choice changes when hes the weight bully

Fair enough. I see your point. You are right, Canelo is certainly not a high output fighter. For me it's about levels more than styles. I believe that if the fighters are approximately of the same skill level then the styles play a big role. However, if one fighter is considerably better I think that negates the style advantage the lesser fighter may have. I believe that is the case in this situation.

I hope you are right because then we'll have a competitive and entertaining fight rather than the gradual beat down I suspect we'll see.

Jermell is like so many other athletic fighters from the US, great athletes with great physical ability but not the skills so match. His lack of counter punching will mean Canelo has nothing to fear when pressing. Jermell will lead because he always leads, which will play into Canelo's pressing counter punching style. He'll back Jermell up, punish him with counters when he does throw and eventually I think you'll have a Jermell running and not throwing for fear of being countered.

Jermell isn't Bivol, who has a tight defence and is very patient and would fall for Canelo's feints to make him lead, taking away Canelo's counters. Jermell in contrast will take the bait and lead because that's how he always fights, he's not a patient counter puncher but an aggressive boxer puncher in the mould of someone like Smith and we saw how that went.

thrashing even they couldn't give him enough to make it a draw lol

He has no chance. Zero. It’s a money grab by Jermell and as for Canelo , he is desperately looking for a name opponent to KO. I just do not see anything Jermell brings that is going to trouble Canelo. He has faced bigger and harder puncher with ease.

Hell i dont think Jermell beats Plant.

Best or not in his division we don’t know yet, but Bivol is def P4P 10, then who is charlo , an overrated weight bully with no skill?
Bivol >>> Charlo . And Clen will either UD or stop him. Charlos are as overrated as spence.
