How much of a chance are you giving him u If that fight got made. Andrade held his own for some rounds. It's not far fetched
Benavidez probably won't be coming back to 168 anytime soon unless it's for Canelo. If he did though I think Janibek schools him, pokes holes in his defence, and makes him cross his feet.
Janibek is just as big and has better genetics and skills. Benavidez is a skinny fat guy (thin but fleshy and doesn't cut up well) and his power and strength doesn't travel up. Janibek has more potential. Benavidez is easier to market.
I'm not seeing what you guys are seeing in Janibek that suggests he hops up and just wreaks havoc at SMW (other than against Munguia and Berlanga), let alone the #2 SMW. I think he's definitely # 1 at MW, especially given the current climate there. I'm not sold on anything else beyond him being the top MW
Exactly, 160 is a ghost town. Janibek hasn't shown us anything against stiff competition yet. This is why folks thought Subriel Matias was the boogeymen. He hadn't fought the top competitors, so they crowned him as the "best" because he was a mystery.
It’s a solid fight. Janibek is more skillful while Benavidez has the power edge. I give Janibek 45% chance of winning.
sure i've seen him, but put up one of his fights so i recognize the name. seems like there are a gazillion guys with some former soviet name that are billed as overlooked flavor of the month. i can't keep up. help a ninja out.
Gotta favor Benevidez at 168, but Janibek would have a great chance if he could outbox DB and not mix it up which if he did plays right into DB's strengths.
If he could I think he would have already moved up to 168. It is hard to gauge how good he is cause 160 is pretty barren. Their isn't a whole lot to challenge him and The only money fight at 160 is Charlo and Eubank. Neither will fight him.
80% as I am not sure how Janibek would respond to pressure in a competitive fight. I would definitely throw some money on him tho.
