It was a close fight, no one scored it one sided either way. The home fighter would have got the decision in any country in the world.

Of course, England beat Spain the last time we played. It was in England.

Home advantage is massive. America is lucky they have it in boxing, be grateful, and stop talking nonsense.

Well the fix was in at the 66 Cup.Anyone that knows the history of the Cup knows that.So I pose this question to you.Is it acceptable for the fix to be in at world sporting events? When Froch lost his title in America, was the fix in?Say,for example the Ward-Froch fight had been held in London or Manchester, would Froch have beaten Ward?

Froch vs Ward in England would be a different fight.

But Ward is American, so the fight can never take place in England.

I'll tell you what Chopper, I admire your ferver, but frankly you are in the losing camp mate.

US fighters that never fight outside of the US have a tainted record.

No matter what you say, that's the truth.

One more time because you simply refuse to answer the question.Had the Ward-Froch fight been held in London or Manchester, would Froch have won?

Well, you're boring me now clinton, but suggesting 66 was a fix pretty much renders all of your arguments pointless.

Here's the truth:any foreigner fighting against an Englishman in England with Dave Parriss as ref stands NO CHANCE of getting anything close to a fair shake from Parriss. That's a fact!!!

Because it's a question that no one in the world could ever answer.

The fight didn't take place in England.

If, for example, Ward comes to England to unify the belts against Froch in Nottingham we'll find out the answer.

Unfortunately it will never happen. Becase American's don't leave.

Did you think Sergundo Mercado would knock Bernard Hopkins down twice just because the fight was in Equador? Just watching the rematch - did it look like a fight that would EVER end in a draw just because it was in a different country?

We've all got side tracked here, and got nasty etc

Frankly, getting back to the OP, I am astonished if there's a single person here who thinks US fighters don't get an advantage by having all of their fights at home.

    It's astonishing frankly.

    It's obvious stuff.

Like Cortez refereeing two different fights for Mayweather against Hatton? and Hopkins against Calzaghe?

    Home advantage matters.
