You still did not answer the question. For the 3rd or 4th time:had the Ward Froch fight been held in Manchester or London, would Froch have won?

And for the 3rd or 4th time. It didn't.

How can I tell you who would win a fight that didn't happen somewhere?

    As I said before...

"Did you think Sergundo Mercado would knock Bernard Hopkins down twice just because the fight was in Equador? Just watching the rematch - did it look like a fight that would EVER end in a draw just because it was in a different country?"

You blind? In America the home advantage might go to a foreigner if the dynamic of the crowd is closer to that of the foreigner rather than the native. An American sometimes IS NOT going to have home advantage in his native land,or even his native city as in the case of Duran-Moore where the crowd was heavily behind Duran.

That's a crowd. Not home advantage.

You think home advantage ends with who cheers loudest? :rofl

Segundo Mercado knocked Bernard Hopkins down twice because the fight was held in Quito, which is at least 5000 feet above sea level.Had the fight been held in Guayaquil, which is at sea level,it would not have happened.Just look at Bolivia when they are home in La Paz in footie. They are virtually INVINCIBLE at home because La Paz is at least 10,000 feet above sea level.Everywhere else, they are quite vincible.Unless one is from a city or country with such a high altitude,it's almost impossible to adapt to such an altitude.

So if all boxing took place in Quito, evey world champion would be from Equador?

    Home advantage matters.

But you did write that it would have been a different fight had it been held in England,so my question fits quite nicely in the context of this debate.Tell ya what.Had it been held in England with Parriss as ref,Froch would have been able to kick Ward in the balls and Parriss would have stood there with his thumb up his ass.

He was literally home and STILL didn't get the benefit of the doubt or the advantage of being home especially when Duran thumbed him in the eye.

Of course home advantage matters in every sport!!!!But it depends on the extent of the support and location as well as ethnic composition of the region anyplace, but especially here in the US.Sometimes a foreign fighter is the preference of the crowd here. And,of course, that very well could influence the judges and lift the preferred fighters performance. To deny that is folly.Let me ask you another one.Can you remember anytime when the crowd in England supported a foreign fighter over an Englishmen?

No doubt, there are extremely rare occasions that home fighters get bad decisions against them. Very rarely.

But no one is talking about extreme one-off situations.

We are talking about every major fight having American home advantage.

15 champions according to Midwest_Chopper and I would guess not 1 defence outside of America.

    The advantage is huge.

    We're talking about big fights.

How every non American has to fight American's in their own country.

    Virtually every time.

Home advantage is never going to go away, but in most sports it's reasonably split.
